While putting the Lighting Book together (free for subscribers to “In The Frame”) I found some tech sheets and thought I may share them here. Some of these techniques are of an older style, but the information is spot on and you can modify the tools to get something YOU want.

Light is light – and there is over 100 pages of ideas and info in the book.

Now to the Tech Sheets I found.

First up is a tech sheet for doing a beautifully lit headshot with a spray light.

I spent a couple of days in the forests and mountains around Seattle a few weeks ago. I hope to go again. I am a desert guy. Lived in the deserts most of my life, and I find them fascinating - maybe due to my design predilection for minimalism. Not sure really, but...
