I use them for free standing fill cards, flags to keep light off of something I don’t want it on, bounce cards for light, and even a light source itself. But there is another cool thing you can do with a V-Card. Make it your background. Making a corner, the background gives wrap around light as both sides serve as bounce. Bringing the light in close makes it soft and beautiful. With the light falling so beautifully, We can use Photoshop to give us some more variety. The soft light lets the model do what ever she wants. Keeping the floor dark with little fill helps give definition to the legs. Slight touch up and contrast increased a bit. I hope you see how cool a V-Card can be and how many things you can do with it. With soft light and surround fill, the beauty of the model can really come through. This kind of light can be done with speedlights and a scrim as well. No TweetBacks yet. (Be the first to Tweet this post)
