Francois-Marie Banier Shooting for Furstenberg

What a fantastic little movie here. Watching Banier shoot is a treat. His way of working with models is loving and safe and provides such a warm set. I have linked to his web site as well, and you can see more of his painted and written images there.

I love it when someone does something a little different. Or, well, a lot different in this case. Did you catch the cool video lights he uses, and with Carbon-Based Light Stands (people) moving in and out per his direction. Personally I am so taken by this method cause I love the intimate work and the fluid way he uses light. Here are more than enough ideas to get your juices going, eh?

Here is a link to Francois-Marie Banier’s site. Note the simple presentation of complex work. No Flash or wild presentation, just a simple page with images and simplistic text. I love it.

We always have fun in this seminar, and we make sure that the learning experience is deep. Many photographers have stated that they learned more about photography in this workshop than in several years of working on their own.

Every participant will get a copy of my recently released DVD titled "Lighting Essentials 1 - How to create professional lighting for under $100." If you would like to know more about the workshop. please feel free to call me anytime to discuss. Visit the workshop page for more information about the workshops.
