Hi everyone. It is time to wrap up the contest shooting. “Summer In My Town” has run from June 1 through the first 2 weeks of August. We now must collect the entries and get the site set up. Below are submission instructions.

Please send the images to me by Tuesday, August 16, 2011. It will take me a week to set up the site (hopefully less) as we have had 50 people sign up. An email went out yesterday and a second one last night. If you did not get the email last night, and you have already registered, let me know ASAP. Registration is closed at this point.

Submissions:
1. 6-8 images in the story. (No less than 6, no more than 8. No exceptions)
2. Text is optional. If there is accompanying text, it will be submitted as an email in text.
(Do not try to layout the pages or incorporate the text into the images. Just have the text ready to accompany the work for when you submit it.)
3. Photographs must be taken between June 1, 2011 and August 10, 2011.
4. Images must be 700 pixels on the largest side.
5. Every image must contain the photographer’s name on the lower left corner, horizontally (72 PPI, 11 point type).
6. Images are transferred electronically. Put them in a folder that is named firstname-lastname – zip it up and email it to me (or share it on your DropBox or use DropSend)
7. Images must be named with photographers last name, and order of presentation. Example “don-giannatti-img1.jpg” or “don-giannatti-1.jpg”. This is quite important so please follow these instructions.

LE will be granted the rights to show the images on the contest page, and on additional sites that may be linking to the contest page. No additional rights are transferred, no third party use of the images. Copyright remains with the photographer.
